About Me
Hey, I'm Palak. Corporate lawyer, runner, obstacle racer, and someone who has chosen, again and again, to keep smiling. I know firsthand that's not easy. That kind of lightness only comes when you've learned to truly let go.
At my lowest, I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a rare neurological condition that paralysed my face and took away my ability to smile. For someone whose whole identity was wrapped up in warmth and joy, that was devastating.
But I fought back, with the extraordinary support of my family, my brothers, and my friends, who held me up when I couldn't hold myself. And a partner who held my hand and proposed to me on a hospital bed, not knowing what tomorrow would bring. That kind of love changes you. It's why I show up for people the way I do.
And at the centre of it all, my mother. A strong, independent woman who raised us on her own and made me tough enough to face any obstacle life throws at me. So much of my warmth, my resilience, and my ability to keep smiling through the hard days, it all comes from her.
That's what I bring into this work. Not a certificate. A life fully lived, and a genuine belief that with the right support and the right mindset, you can get back to yourself too.
